It's like how buying in bulk is cheaper. These large data centers with their massive electric bills and these kind of things to happen isn't surprising to me.
On the other side these data centers brings in revenue that later can be taxed. It's hard thing to talk about though as much as you hate it, they've got the upper hand in capital power.
Their electric usage will be increasing by the year since AI isn't cheap and it's becoming global phenomenon. There are shortage for AI demand and the demand grows every day.
