The tri-nation final between Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan saw an uneven match between the two teams, where Afghanistan were bowled out for 66 runs, chasing a target of 142 runs, and lost by 75 runs. Sadiqullah Atal and Rashid Khan both managed to touch double figures, while none of the other batsmen managed to score any significant runs. Meanwhile, Pakistani bowler Mohammad Nawaz completely destroyed Afghanistan by taking five wickets. Finals are enjoyable when they are competitive, which we didn't see in this match, where a team being all out for 66 against a target of 142 and losing by 75 runs can never be enjoyable.
Afghanistan is a strong T20 side and everyone was expecting a good competition in the final but things went just one sided. Afghanistan bowlers did good work to restrict Pakistan to 141 but when Afghanistan came out to bat there batting collapsed due to Muhammad Nawaz bowling. Nawaz got 5 wickets and gave away just 19 runs in his 4 overs. The whole Afghanistan team got out on 66 runs beacuse none of there batsmen was able to stay on pitch and score runs.
