Only 4 teams have lost by more than 300 runs so far. South Africa, Netherlands, Sri Lanka and USA. Sri Lanka has lost by 200+ runs twice. And both times they lost against India. But yesterday South Africa broke all records. They lost by a huge margin of 342 runs. And I don't think any other team will be able to break this shameful record.
In the second match too, we saw South Africa score a big 330. South Africa's batsmen batted brilliantly. They had no chance of winning today's match against a target of 415 runs. However, the batsmen should have tried to reduce the loss. They should have tried to score at least 200 runs. But at the same time, Africa's innings stopped at just 72 runs. They couldn't even score 100.
When England set a target of 415 runs, I thought England would win, but I didn't expect South Africa to lose so badly. The South African batsmen performed well in the first two matches, so I expected a good performance from the South African batsmen. But in the 3rd match there was a huge run target due to which the South African batsmen were under pressure from the start, when South Africa lost 4 wickets for 7 runs in 5 overs I stopped watching the game, after some time I saw them all out for 72 runs. It was a humiliating defeat for South Africa, while England set a record of winning by a huge margin.
South Africa won the series by winning the 1st two matches, however, England escaped being whitewashed. If England's bowlers could have bowled aggressively in the 1st two matches like yesterday, the result of this series might have been different.
