Every week, we here new information of restrictions in Philippines. Is the situation that bad?
I'm going to be drawing my conclusion on this matter. The reason why the government are taking strict actions against gambling in Philippine s is based on the illegal's gambling activities that was carried out in the country. Perhaps, they have traced everything, only to find out, gambling and casino was the root everything.
I want to personally assume that before now, the government of Philippines have given much attention to their citizens and how they go about gambling, during this time, alot of illegal gambling platforms and casinos sprang up in the country and are exploiting the addicted gamblers in the country..
Now, the government seeing that things are getting out of hand and if they don't intervene, majority of the country's citizens will turn out to become a gambling addict, so they (the government) decided to rise up and do what is necessary to cub and reduce the rate at which the citizens of the country have access and participate in gambling, this is possibly the reason why we are now seeing and reading news of restrictions here and there in the country, I believe the government is only trying to save their citizens from impending doom which could result from unrestricted gambling access.
This is just my personal assumption though.
