I'm going to be drawing my conclusion on this matter. The reason why the government are taking strict actions against gambling in Philippine s is based on the illegal's gambling activities that was carried out in the country. Perhaps, they have traced everything, only to find out, gambling and casino was the root everything.
My thoughts exactly, there's always something tragic about the informations we get about philippine concerning gambling, either it's a fraudulent activity or gambling addiction. Like you said, actions taken by the government to put a ban on gambling is mostly a result of illegal gambling activities been carried out by anonymous people. These issues keep coming up frequently, are these strict actions solving anything?
The government should take a closer look at the real problem of their situation because it is not gambling per se. It is the corrupt people who are involved one way or another on this business. With too much corruption, some protocols are being violated and that this business is being banned for no reason. They won't get the taxes that they need if they will continue to ban gambling in any form.
