Seeing how well Liverpool have started the season and the level of form they have now getting a win against Burnley shouldn’t be too difficult to achieve and I have believe they will get a win and all three points when they face Burnley. It might seem like I’m underestimating Burnley but in the truth I’m just stating the obvious.
I wouldn’t jump to conclusions just yet. Liverpool are playing okay — not great — and even though they have all 9 points, there are clear issues in their defense. Not to mention, Salah doesn’t look like the old Salah we’re all used to.
They’ll probably win, but not without some drama. I’d say 1–2 to Liverpool.
Liverpool’s performance has not been incredible so far, they got all the nine points in their first three matches which is impressive to say, but their performances had not been at the level they were last last season which means that if they play against top team, they might drop points along the line.
They manage to defeat Arsenal in their first big game encounter by a free kick goal to get their first win against Arsenal since 2023.
However, they are still strong title contenders because they just added Isak to their squad even though the defender they attempted to sign couldn’t complete the move to Liverpool which means that their defense isn’t as solid as it should be with the number of world class attacker they have; therefore, we can’t just give them everything from now, let’s watch Arsenal and Chelsea and see how far they will go again this season.
