Since the introduction of crypto casinos, no country has been able to stop gambling. How can a country track its people on how much they are gambling? Although the government can collect information from casino platforms where KYC is mandatory, most people prefer to gamble on non-kyc platforms. And there are some illegal gambling sites where deposits can be made in local currency but no KYC is required, people also gamble a lot on them. And those platforms are operated illegally from other countries due to which the government does not get any information about them. In this way, a lot of money is being laundered from one country to another. And it will take a much longer time to protect these and a strict action will be required from the government.
Complete ban of something over internet is not possible but when they made it illegal and have penalty for who violate the law will surely pushes the people away and that is what they are hoping and main reason could be people are not paying the taxes on their gambling rewards or is it really the our government is concerned about the citizens? Cheesy

People will find a way soon and it's not going to stop the one who are regular in it.
