People use Bitcoin for different purposes; some treat it as a means of transaction, while others see it as an investment. Each has its own purpose. Personally, I consider Bitcoin primarily a means of transaction. While it can be used for investment, Bitcoin’s original purpose was to serve as an innovative payment network and a new kind of money. While many may not focus on this aspect, I believe it’s important to understand Bitcoin this way and not view it solely as an investment.
Before it was the former, we've done transactions because they're smooth even today. But the time has come when everyone started to shift of how important each satoshi that we own and thanks to its volatility. The real purpose is there and that's to be a currency where all of us can do transactions but the time has changed and it has attracted a lot of attention from this market that everyone who owns it can do either of it. But the majority now is taking care of their own holdings not because they want to use it for transactions but to stick to their main motive which is to be an asset.
