Last season, Man City did tremendously great by finishing 3rd in the premier League campaign, and they resumed last season by winning all 3 of their games. They were one of the contenders for the premier League title but failed to win it due to injuries. And now the new season hasn't been promising as they have lost two of three games already in the start of the League. Starting with a positive mindset is important as it improves the strength of the team.
Once a team starts losing points in the beginning of the season, it's always difficult for them to bounce back at the long run. The admins have been quiet for so long; they've also been very patient with Guardiola.. Can he work his way out? Is it time for him to leave?
Indeed, if you look at Manchester City's performance last season, they performed better, of course, because the other teams hadn't upgraded their strengths. However, this season will certainly be very difficult to win because most of the teams have been overhauled, and there will certainly be differences. However, judging by Manchester City's performance, there is certainly still a chance for them to win the trophy. In the past, they were inconsistent in their wins, but towards the end of the season, they always bounced back, and of course, something similar could happen this season.
In my opinion, Pep deserves time this season. Considering Pep Guardiola's extensive service to Manchester City, it's certainly worth retaining him and giving him a chance this season. However, if Manchester City's performance declines further at the end of the season, the decision to fire Pep is certainly justified. However, I have a feeling that Pep will perform well.
