anyone can chose what type of perception they can classify or consider bitcoin to be, but to me bitcoin is an asset with a great store of value and also a digital currency. although the initial plan of Satoshi Nakamoto was not for bitcoin to be used as a store of value but to be used as a digital currency that will work side by side with fiat or solve the problem of financial crisis, just a decentralized system of finance that will function as an alternative to centralized system. but as bitcoin begin to gain recognition and a massive adoption, people now begin to see the advantage of making it a store of value, and they begin to buy and HODL which i even making the price to keep skyrocketing. bitcoin massive growth makes people to consider it a store of value. in fact bitcoin has a lot of functionalities depending on what you chose it to function for you.
