How many casinos can actually help gamblers in providing this type of warning message instead of showing them messages that will lead them into gambling more? I think the answer is very few. We know they are into a business which they need to make profit, but then again, they should also make it a habit to warn their customers of the potential danger of spending more, as they can’t expect the same in return.
Although some casinos do display warning messages, I don’t think many people actually read them. Most people who enter a casino aren’t really thinking about how much time or money they might lose or how deeply it could affect them. That’s why it’s important to have strong self-control and avoid falling into greed. Good addiction control is key
Some people might actually not read them, but if some casino that’s in with the intention of actually passing wants it to get to the customer, they will use the same method they use in making sure that casino promotional offers get to them, which includes constant mailing and reminder pop-ups on screen each time the customer logs in. It will display which part of the message will be previewed even before the customer might decide to close it.
