Yup, the much awaited Asia Cup will start from today. The first match will be played between Afghanistan and Hong Kong. Although Hong Kong is a comparatively weaker team but we just recently how Afghanistan batting collapsed in the tri nation against Pakistan. This means that anything can happen in this match but still it will be too much asking from the Hong Kong team to do an upset but if they are able to play a close match, then for sure it would be good for them. Anything can happen in a T20 format

At least in Asia, the associate teams are improving with every passing year. The three associate nations who are participating in this edition of the Asia Cup (United Arab Emirates, Oman and Hong Kong) do have the ability to upset full member nations. Afghanistan seems to be the low hanging fruit. They are a promising team, but the instability in their home country makes them vulnerable while playing abroad. Also, some of their core players are not in great form.
