I saw a post about someone returning to gambling after quitting for some time, maybe a year or more. But my concern is not more on the return to gambling, rather it is on the very question I am about to ask that requires your opinions if really we want to solve the problem of gambling and addiction into it
There are individual that see themselves gambling uncontrollably and decide to take a break for a while afterwards when they have healed completely, they come back with a better strategy that helps them gamble more responsibly. for those, that could be the reason why after what we can call a break, you still see them coming back again. coming back is not an issue, it is only a problem when one refuses to learn from ones past and still come back with the mentality that gambling is something that is done as an escape route from poverty.
it is just best that each gambler gains complete control of his gambling excesses so he becomes fully in charge of his gambling and not just allow the urge to win push him into gambling recklessly. even after quitting gambling for a while, their is no guarantee that you wont come back. that is one reason why responsible gambling should take the forefront in any gambling discussion.
