Kosovo was the surprise of the day. They scored twice in the first half to win the match 2-0. Sweden dominated possession, while Kosovo made the most effective attacks.
After Emerllahu received a red card in the final minutes for his second yellow card, Kosovo finished the match with 10 men.
Another key match was the 4-5 draw between Israel and Italy.
I don't remember Italy conceding so many goals recently.
The biggest factor, of course, was that both goals were own goals. Locatelli and Bastoni were a surprise 😂
I’ve long noticed how Kosovo started playing after the coaching change, so I didn’t take this match into account and allowed for the possibility of a draw, but Kosovo’s victory was unexpected. What surprised me even more was that Israel managed to score 4 goals against the Italian national team, I can’t even remember when Donnarumma last conceded that many. Maybe the reason is Gattuso, since he’s trying to change something in the team, and it affected their attack because for two matches in a row they’ve been scoring 5 goals, but Italy had never conceded that much before.
