If someone had told you during 2015 that Bitcoin will exceed over $100k one day and you should invest in it as at then. Would you have believed?
If somebody told me to invest in Bitcoin during 2015 I will not listen to the person, I will even be thinking that the person want to scam me. Other people invest in Bitcoin during 2015 but few of them have lost the keys to their wallets. Because those years they didn't know that Bitcoin will be worth such huge amount now.

If he also explained the necessary information needed for me to believe. If the person told me about how the adoption is increasing and the bitcoin limited supply of 21 million BTC, I will believe. Since I came to this forum, I read about bitcoin very well and I believe to the extent I know it will become global reserve, and which is what that is happening now.
Moreover ,If you know about bitcoin in 2015 and you also know about the forum nothing will stop you from buy as much as you can afford.
Information is very useful. If the person explained how Bitcoin is properly I might be skeptical whether to invest or not. But there is a way the person will share his information with you that will make you believe him.
Even if I did not invest when the person told me about it, I will make research and take time to study it if it will become valuable or worthless.
