I have an explanation for that. A lot student does not know who they want to be and let parents decide which university they should go, additionally to when choosing university, almost nobody makes a report which professions are demanded and where are excess of employees. In the end we get a child who does not want to do anything or be an actor, but his parents have sent him to study finances. It end with a child who does not want to learn, cant find a good job (because there are too many office employees) and he realizes that young actor earn nothing. Add to this "to apply for a job you need experience, and you cant get experience because nobody hire you". In such situation, of course mastering a skill is a win strategy.
