Asia Cup is on our door step and starts today September 9 2025 in UAE. As we know that tournament is T20 event with eight teams split into two groups like @HelliumZ already mentioned it. Group A has India, Pakistan, Oman and UAE and in Group B has Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka. Most exciting match will be between India and Pakistan on September 14. All teams will be working hard to win their games and move on to next round before final match on September 28.
India no doubt is favorite for this cup but who will play final along with India is still not clear. Afghanistan is also in good form and has won T20I match against Pakistan in recent tri series. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are also good contender for the final. It's good to see so many teams playing Asia Cup and new teams cricket will improve as they play cricket against top sides. In future we might see tough competition in Asia Cup as teams performances will improve.
