It's sad but true. Just seems as if what we have in the Super Eagles squad are a bunch of players who aren't willing to put in much work cause they don't want to get injured. See, call me a pessimistic somebody but it's getting harder and harder by the minute to convince myself that Nigeria would qualify for the World Cup. You know how they behave. Give you the feeling that something might come out of them but on the D-Day, they mess up so bad that you watching them would feel like going on the pitch to take over from them.
Nigeria isn't in its best shape for multiple reasons although they have good players. When it comes to today's match, it is like its last chance to secure a spot in the upcoming World Cup. Super Eagles have to win it, they have to win every match in fact to try to pick the first spot which is hard to achieve I know. Trying their luck with the best four play-offs is risky and I think it is impossible comparing to the first spot.
I am not very confident about today's game by the way and South Africa is a good team.
In my opinion, Nigeria's chances this time are quite tough considering their current standings. The immense pressure could actually hinder their performance, especially against a team that's playing consistently and confidently. South Africa has the moral advantage of playing in front of their home crowd, plus their more consistent form in recent matches. If Nigeria doesn't quickly find an effective solution in attack, it will be difficult for them to match the hosts' dominance
