I am getting tired of this argument. Why the young players need to be in Europe to advance their career? Nowadays, European clubs don't show any sort of respect towards the players, and majority of them are owned by corrupt oligarchs. In the last couple of years, we are witnessing an increasing number of young players moving to Saudi Arabia. Darwin Núñez is not the only one who made the move. In Al Hilal itself we have Yusuf Akçiçek and Mathieu Patouillet. Merih Demiral is representing Al Ahli, and in Al Qadsiah we have Christopher Bonsu Baah, Mateo Retegui and Julián Quiñones.

In fact, since last season, many young players from Europe and America have started joining clubs in the SPL. One such player is the current goalkeeper of Al-Nassr. There was also a player who joined Al-Qadisiyah last season, also quite young and with a promising career in Europe, but he chose to join Al-Qadisiyah. And not just one, but several. The youngest example is 20-year-old Iker Almena, who came from Girona (La Liga). And there are many more, such as one player from Getafe, Gaston Alvarez.

If I'm not mistaken, Al-Qadisiyah recruited around 16 new players in last season's transfer window. And most of them are young players, many of whom also come from Europe.
