Returning to gambling is the problem here. If an individual wants to quit gambling they should try all means to quit. Once they quit gambling, returning back to it will trigger that habit and addiction they once had. And this time, the level might be higher compare to their usual gambling self.

It is understandable if a gambler decides to pause for a while. At least he has a good reason for pausing, it is expected that he will be back anyday.
