We are lucky because my country, the Philippines, is somehow friendly with Bitcoin.  The government once declared that Bitcoin can be accepted as mode of payment and there are several projects and seminars about blockchain integration done by the local government.

Now one of the representatives submits a bill about having a Bitcoin reserve with an initial target of accumulating 10k BTC which is discuessed in this thread.

As far as I know, the Philippines has never been against Bitcoin, even though in the early years of Bitcoin, banks warned several people about Bitcoin investment.
