In my country, it is pretty common for parents to have kids then think that their kids are their hope. That is because they get kids without being financially ready for it yet and then they just eventually hope that when their kids grow up they will be the ones to build wealth for them. But is having kids the reason why people end up financially worse over the years? Do not get me wrong, kids are a blessing but realistically speaking they are expensive.
That's the traditional belief in most asian countries about having kids and hoping that someday they'll pull them up and get out of poverty through them.
But that's a burden that many of those kids shouldn't have while they're young. It's the bad of the parents who have lack of knowledge and yet, they still had a kid without being financially ready.
Is it fair to yourselves and to the kids to have kids just to leave it up to them to be wealthy and let them grow up through hardships?
That is irresponsible parenting there.
Kids shouldn't think of that matter and they should be free to walk in the path that they want having no burdens thinking of sustaining their parents/family's need.
