I think the information is outdated, as Pakistan is now planning to lift the ban on digital currencies following a regulatory framework. And in China, the regulations regarding bitcoin aren't completely banned, as there are still many bitcoin holders there.

In my own country, bitcoin and altcoins remain legal, but with the rule that they are only used for investment and trading, while being used as a means of payment is completely prohibited. Perhaps this rule will also change as bitcoin regulations develop in countries globally.
