In my country, it is pretty common for parents to have kids then think that their kids are their hope. That is because they get kids without being financially ready for it yet and then they just eventually hope that when their kids grow up they will be the ones to build wealth for them. But is having kids the reason why people end up financially worse over the years? Do not get me wrong, kids are a blessing but realistically speaking they are expensive. Is it fair to yourselves and to the kids to have kids just to leave it up to them to be wealthy and let them grow up through hardships?
You are of course right by saying that parents these days just give birth without birth control of a care for their financial status and the point to note in all these is that the aim of life is actually for procreation.
Although some countries put a restriction on the number of children expecting parent should have but that's not a guarantee that these children would do better and be the families financial savior  later in life.

Children are of course a blessing from God but potential parents who don't really need it should avoid actions that would make them have children that aren't planned for thus creating financial hardship for themselves and the society at large.
