Snip-
Fabrizio posted on his social media handles that Nottingham and Espirito has parted ways. I was expecting this news after Espirito granted an interview stating that his relationship with the club has broken down. I didn't know that it broke irreparably. Espirito has done well with Forest and he still had a beautiful start this season. I know for sure he wasn't sacked based on poor performance.
Who do you think will replace him?
And where could be Espirito's next destination.
Read more Nuno had a falling out with the club owner, which led to his early dismissal --- not because of poor performance, but because the relationship had broken down beyond repair.
However, Fabrizio has announced that Forest has announced a new coach in the form of Ange, the former Tottenham coach.
So the Nottingham Forest team management already knew he would be dismissed and took early action against Ange.
In terms of performance, Nuno is clearly one of the best coaches on record because even last season they managed to get through a difficult period despite an inconsistent end to the season, but Nottingham's early season performance was clearly a surprise that was well worth watching. However, the risk of falling out with the club owner is certainly dismissal.
It's a bit of a shame because, looking at Nottingham's performance last season and in the opening match of this EPL season, they were certainly good enough. However, the conflict that arose disrupted their performance in the next two matches.
Currently, the rumor is that Ange Postecoglou could be the replacement. This isn't a new name for the EPL, as he previously managed Tottenham, though he was replaced by Frank.
We'll have to wait and see whether this ultimately turns out to be a good thing for Nottingham or a disaster, especially after their surprising performance last season.
