I got really worried over the habit of some friends who are into betting or gambling and how they often stake into a game in a week more than what they earn even in a month and most time are not able to get it back in a couple of plays. So it got me really worried and concerned

What your friend is doing is very bad. I am worried that the advice may not have a positive impact on your friend. What we can do as friends is only to remind and give advice. We have a good relationship and do not want it to turn bad because of the advice we give. It would be better if they can still be advised and improve their gambling activities. If not, gambling will give them advice in its own way.
