In my country, it is pretty common for parents to have kids then think that their kids are their hope. That is because they get kids without being financially ready for it yet and then they just eventually hope that when their kids grow up they will be the ones to build wealth for them. But is having kids the reason why people end up financially worse over the years? Do not get me wrong, kids are a blessing but realistically speaking they are expensive. Is it fair to yourselves and to the kids to have kids just to leave it up to them to be wealthy and let them grow up through hardships?
It's true that kids are blessing, but I don't think it's right to bring a child into this world without having a plan for the child. We totally understand that the economy is really hard on most people, and people just think they have to get married and have children and hope the child or children become wealthy when they grow.
Having hope is a good thing, but I think in this situation you have to plan for your child or children before bringing them into this world. We should also learn to give birth to kids we can cater for. So it's not fair on a child if you don't have plans for them. It's good to pray and hope that your kids do better than you in life, but it's wrong to put so much pressure on them to be rich when you did not even give them a good foundation.
