Re: Can Bitcoin Ever Become a True Source of Passive Income Without Selling It?

This leads to a bigger question. Should Bitcoin be expected to serve as a passive income tool, or would that go against its very nature? Perhaps its real power lies in preserving value over decades, while investors generate income from other sources. Others believe that future innovations on Layer 2 or new financial instruments might make it possible to earn from Bitcoin without giving up security.

So what do you think? Will Bitcoin always remain a pure store of value, or can it evolve into a genuine source of passive income in the future?
I think it is against the very true nature of Bitcoin because it was not meant to hold but to use for day to day deals like we make deals in p2p but due to its deflationary nature and resistance to the inflation which is the highest even more than the Gold, everybody loves it.

They want to hold it for its price action and the security it provides, they can hide their billions in Bitcoins without telling anyone and they can move them easily without any hesitation because they own the keys they own the funds.

I think holding Bitcoin is now normal and everyone holds it so it doesn't matter who is doing what, but if you want to hold it for passive income, that's not a good thing because I think we should just hold Bitcoin and bro we should only sell it when we need it the most.
