Almost every now and then, there is a new casino that is setup, each week, it is like there is a new casino where gamblers could gamble. I am aware that the competition in the industry is good, but more casinos mean more publicity for gambling, and more publicity for gambling means more gamblers definitely, and if there are more gamblers, we will have a higher chance of people who will turn up with a gambling problem or challenge. This is a thought I had earlier, I may be wrong, what do you think? What do you consider is the effects of the many options and variety of casinos to gamble on, do you think that it has somehow promoted and made addiction easy? do you feel that gamblers would have been less addicted if we have fewer casinos?
In my opinion, it is no different from the increasing number of minimarkets popping up all the time, yet still subject to the same regulations if they are within the same region. Each casino certainly has its own flagship games to attract customers, but I don’t think that necessarily leads to an increase in the number of gamblers, especially for land based casinos. It could simply mean that gamblers from Casino A move to Casino B. However, if the casino also operates online, the number of its customers is very likely to grow significantly.

Therefore, I think the number of gamblers experiencing addiction also has the potential to rise, and that should come as no surprise. Beginner gamblers often gamble beyond their limits due to their lack of experience and understanding of how to gamble responsibly. For those with experience, the increase in the number of casinos may not have any impact. In fact, it might them several alternative options for gambling.
