Why did you give out your number? You can easily avoid any scam attempts but it can lead to people you do not know to be spamming you. Try to avoid it next time. Do not give out your phone number.

I think the numbers are visible to the merchants as I have come to know. It could be that the exchange make the number available for them to be able to contact their customer in case of delays but I still notice that some merchant request for number when orders are placed. I have remember being called on several occasions by merchants to release trade and I began to wonder how they got the number since I did not drop the number in the chat.
