It's kind of weird when an investor thinks he can completely know everything about bitcoin which to me is impossible,it is even worse if he starts waiting until he knows everything about bitcoin before he can start investing. Somehow it is creepy for a person to venture into Bitcoin without understanding how it works because by so doing he may start investing wrongly with the mindset that he is doing the right thing when he's not. My points is, trying to have too much knowledge about bitcoin isn't necessary rather what is important is understanding how Bitcoin works and how to invest rightly.
That is, general knowledge about Bitcoin is definitely required. If you have general knowledge about Bitcoin, I think it will never be a problem to start investing, but if someone delays investing to gain deeper knowledge, then he is definitely making a mistake. It is very important to know the basic concepts clearly, because without this, you will not be able to implement the investment properly. You have to master the necessary concepts and start investing, but you cannot waste time waiting to gain additional knowledge.
I see it differently honestly, you don't need to pile up general/whole knowledge before you even start with Bitcoin.. If you wait until you understand everything, you might end up never starting at all, because there is always something new to learn.. For me, just knowing the basics like how to buy, how to keep your coins safe, and not leaving them on an exchange is already enough to take that first step.. The rest of the knowledge will come naturally as you go along. It is actually easier to learn when you already have a bit invested, because then you pay more attention and the lessons stick better...
And i dnt like the idea of mastering concepts before investing, because Bitcoin is not a school where you sit down, pass exams, and then get permission to join.. It is more like you learn by being involved. Even people who have been in Bitcoin for years are still learning, so waiting until you feel ready or knowledgeable enough just slows you down.. The important thing is to start small, stay cautious, and keep building your understanding on the journey.. That way, you get both the experience and the knowledge side by side instead of losing years waiting for some perfect level of preparation that never really comes...
At the end of the day, what protects you is not how many concepts you have mastered at the start, but how disciplined you are with the basics, don’t invest money you will need tomorrow, hold for the long term, and protect your keys. Once you have got that in place, you are already in the game. Everything else you will figure out over time, and honestly, that is part of what makes the Bitcoin journey real...
