I am very sure that one day, traditional Bank will begin to accept Bitcoin as a legit medium of exchange, people need to be given freedom to deposit their BTC directly  just like the regular money. I believe that this will come to pass when the major world powers officially recognizes and adopts Bitcoin, this will make a foundation for banks to stand up and integrate it into their financial system. I believe in Bitcoin .
There is no doubt that, at some point, traditional banks will begin offering services for managing accounts in Bitcoin, as well as sending and receiving Bitcoin through regular bank accounts.

Although Bitcoin can function independently of banks, banks originally emerged because metal money  gold and silver coins did not function well as money. They were not easily divisible, difficult to transport, and hard to verify for authenticity.

The word bank comes from the Latin word banca, meaning "bench" because Jewish merchants and money changers would sit on benches while engaging in lending and exchanging gold, copper, and silver coins. Over time, they began offering services such as verifying the quality of gold and silver, and storing precious metals.

Anyone who deposited gold or silver coins with a moneylender would receive a paper certificate a banknote which was literally a note acknowledging the deposited money.Banknotes began to circulate as a medium of exchange because people almost never went to retrieve their gold from the bankers. When moneylenders realized that depositors rarely came to collect their gold and silver coins, they started issuing paper banknotes as interest-bearing loans without actual backing in gold or silver. This is how the monetary system and modern banking were born.

With Bitcoin, we don’t need banks everyone can be their own bank. However, we cannot forbid banks from offering services, just like they did with gold, or even creating paper Bitcoin.
