Singaporeans are hard working people, they built their country through their human resources instead of natural resources, so if they allow people to gamble easier by just making transfer from their e-money platform, this could ruin their entire human resources.

I think they're making a right decision, they use their logic.

Yeah. That being said, some pay-later apps do market themselves aggressively, I won't be surprised if one of them doesn't offer proper filtering on their customers because they assume terrorizing them with calls or something else is enough to force them to pay on time. I have a pay-later app that offers me a high credit balance even though I never take a high loan there, for example. While it's unlikely they'll deliberately market themselves to gambler, some of them might allow gamblers to take a loan as long as they offer their personal data and whatnot.
I have no idea why many people are taking easy with pay-later apps, even though I have enough money to cover something wrong, but I never tried to use pay-later apps. Usually they offer discount or too good to be true rate, but in my mind, I already set myself to never touch it.
