I am very sure that one day, traditional Bank will begin to accept Bitcoin as a legit medium of exchange, people need to be given freedom to deposit their BTC directly just like the regular money. There are many Bitcoin exchanges, PayPal also accepts Bitcoin. What you say OP, is inevitable, that will definitely happen soon but that's not a good thing. Now the USA might even ban self-custody wallets, that will motivate banks to let you accept crypto transactions through their system.
