He now has 48 goals in 45 games, impressive statistics. I wonder if he can play at this level for another 10 years? If so, he will easily beat Ronaldo's record at 150+ goals level (although Ronaldo continues to raise the bar, this should be taken into account).
The problem with this new ballers is that they don't stay consistent for long, he doesn't have the zeal that Ronaldo had. Ronaldo had something to prove and that's why he kept playing and also staying fit but for this new guys, any small hindrance, they have stop playing. Ronaldo will keep raising the bar, soon he'll get to 1k goals and close to 200 international goals. Ronaldo had the motivation of Messi chasing him and trying to prove he was better than him. This new guys gat no real competition that can stand the taste of time like the rivalry between Messi and Ronaldo. Their goals aren't that entertaining too so I don't see much fun following up. Haaland also have to start winning something with na nation before all the goals become useless.
