Word from the moderator; they don't want to get involved in altcointalk because this is a bitcointalk site after all (sounds logical to me).
I did ask however if we can either get ownership over this topic or get a lock so that one of us can start a new topic.
I recommended giving the original dev two more weeks to pick up where he left off before taking such an action.
Currently I'm waiting for a reply.
I don't think we need to wait another two weeks for nothing. Make it 3 days or something. Besides if he wanted to show up he'd done it by now. It's obvious he's gone. Don't make it worse by wasting time.
