Permit me to gently disagree with this bolded statement above, Multi- signature it's also very good for storing personal funds. No matter how careful and securely you store your seed phrases offline, there's a possibility of it being compromised and in that case the  criminal would make away with your funds easily but in the case of a multisig wallet.
Have you made use of a multisig wallet before?
Well if you have I don't think you would have this same opinion. The main difference between a multi-sig wallet and your regular standard wallet is the number of signatures required to sign a transaction for it to be valid  for a broadcast. If you've made use of a multisig wallet before you'll discover you spend more in fees and not only that the hassle of having 2 co-signers will tire you out.

If you really want maximum security as an individual HODLER, you'll rather use a standard wallet extended with your own custom words. That way even if the criminal has you 12 words it will load up an empty wallet. Storing private keys is more of a hassle compared to storing seed phrases.
