Computers and machines always wins because there is no emotions involved, this is a great lesson if people think about it very well, in the midst of chaos if you can maintain your calm posture there is a high chance that you will survive.

When it comes to gambling and taking risks, if you can lower the risk you have a upper hand at better control, the emotion state becomes minimal to handle, it's the same with if you don't gamble to make money.

It's very dangerous to gamble while gambling seem like your only hope to make money, your emotion state goes up times ten or more, it becomes harder to handle, you have a god point here and many will still fade it.

Humans have emotions and can not maintain their cool like robots that doesn't have emotions. Even if someone is playing with a little amount or is applying a very low risk like you said, once they start losing repeatedly without stopping their self from gambling at that moment, it becomes so difficult to control emotions because you will definitely feel bad for not even winning anything from your stakes. Although, just like you said, the risk of losing emotional control is high when someone is playing only to make money and it can go bad if the person is even staking higher amount, trying to force a huge win.
I think i should start by saying acknowledging the emotional aspects of gambling, individuals can take steps to protect themselves and make more informed decisions.

The last i checked the humans naturally experience emotions like frustration, disappointment, or excitement while gambling, which can impact their behavior.

Repeated losses can lead to emotional distress, making it challenging to maintain control and make rational decisions.

Higher stakes or a strong focus on winning can amplify emotional investment, increasing the risk of impulsive decisions.
