Cointxz is right. We dont know the terms and conditions of the job. It will depend if a sports journalist are allowed to bet on sports games. As we all know VAR officials and referees are not allowed to gamble.
However, that will be difficult for someone who have always been in gambling for a long time, before becoming a sports journalist. It will be hard for him/her to resist from gambling.
Just as you have made it clear,the hardest any one can passed through is quite from what you have engaged as gambling and still work in another dimension of it as journalist the force of attraction must always push one to give it a trial because such had left left the person completely, I completely agree with Agbamoni that it's hard to resist. This senerio remind me of bet worker who take customer experience from the bet they book to analyze his game and bet, this could not be far from the journalist situation because different ideas from the intervier and past experiences can give motivation of gambling on same sport.
