I've noticed that very few people truly understand Bitcoin or see what I see in it. I've always wondered why it's so hard for people to grasp the essence of Bitcoin.
Yesterday, I came across a really good video that explains why it's so difficult for people to understand Bitcoin.
It's simply too big of a paradigm shift.
Most people don’t even understand how fiat money works. They use dollars/euros/whatever but if you ask them what actually backs it, where it comes from, or how inflation eats away at it, you’ll get no answer. So it’s no surprise that they don’t understand Bitcoin either. If people can’t take the time to question something they have been using their whole life, why would they bother to learn about something new, decentralized, and borderless?
Imho, it’s all about about the effort.
