Holding is always gold. Not only Bitcoin, but all the top-tier coins are best for holding BNB today reach a milestone of $1k where i sold my BNB for $4 at a time, i was 2000 BNB and if i talked about Bitcoin then it crossed a big milaston of 100k and also hit $124k where is sold my 3 bitcoin at around $4000 now i am regarding for my past decission. Now we are thinking about bitcoin, that the bitcoin price can go down a lot, and we are waiting for that, but this is also another mistake. i don't think Bitcoin price can drop below $80-90k on dip season. So buying Bitcoin by DCA now can also be a good decision. When we see bitcoin at a price of more than $500k or a million dollars, then we will think about this time and reflect on why we missed buying and holding bitcoin at the price of around $100k.
Are you trying to say that there are some other coins that are the best and better than Bitcoin in terms of holding? I don’t think I will agree with that. Because given how the bitcoin has helped a lot of people in terms of investing and holding it for a long period of time, that’s why the bitcoin has become the best all over the world. Even this BNB that you’re talking about is not, as of recently, he hint $1k that you’re trying to use as an example.
Altcoins are not comparable to Bitcoin. An altcoin may be very bullish, but in the long run, those coins will never be able to maintain their value. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, no government can stop it in any way, but there is no such guarantee in the case of altcoins. Centralized top coins can be sued by regulatory agencies at any time. We have seen cases of scams of different successful projects in the past. Therefore, you have to accept the certainty of your own assets. Putting your assets at risk in such an investment is nothing but complete foolishness. An investor may return empty-handed after investing in altcoins for a long time, but Bitcoin does not guarantee it, but looking at past behavior, it is easy to guess that if someone follows the DCA strategy and continues to increase their Bitcoin investment with the aim of holding it for the long term, then there is a possibility of getting large returns from Bitcoin over a long period of time.
You are correct in pointing out that Bitcoin is unique among the altcoins considering long term security and decentralisation. This was quickly learned by many individuals when altcoins that appeared to have a good short-term future crashed because of regulatory pressures, hacks, or changing hype cycles.
With that said, I believe it is also reasonable to acknowledge that other altcoins such as BNB or ETH have consistently rewarded early adopters, and primarily due to the fact that they were pegged to an ecosystem (Binance exchange, Ethereum smart contracts). When that ecosystem grows or becomes competitive, only so much is available on the upside. Bitcoin, however, does not rely on a corporation or any single application, which is why its supremacy has survived over a variety of cycles.
Higher DCA to Bitcoin is, nevertheless, rational today, as the premise has always been the scarcity long term and the adoption worldwide. A lot more risks are involved, but the rewards can be larger in the short term with altcoins. To have a safer bet in the long term (10 or more years) then Bitcoin is the answer.

What is your opinion, can a small percentage of altcoins be included in the portfolio as a high-risk or high-reward, or is it better to invest 100% in Bitcoin?
