Now this cycle it’s meme coins. You got thousands of meme coins released every day and maybe 1 works out a week. Why do people invest in it? Because if you pick the right token you can 100x instead of gaining like 25% like bitcoin.
You now have to answer the question, how many altcoins or meme coin will you have to invest in before you get the right one? With that, it becomes extremely hard to know which altcoins to invest in and trying to do so many permutations that will give you the right one to invest in will almost look like you're gambling with your funds.
Bitcoin might not have a guarantee to yield an immediate 💯 returns on investment as some altcoins would do but yet, bitcoin has a guarantee that it can never DIP and crash to nothing as it's the case with most altcoins and meme coin. At least, that's a huge difference between bitcoin and altcoins.
I think it's worth investing a small portion of the money set aside for investments in some memecoins. But the choice shouldn't be made blindly, by randomly tapping the screen, you should research several options and do proper analysis. If bitcoin is more of a long-term investment, you shouldn't hold memecoins for too long, they tend to be very unpredictable.
