I've noticed that very few people truly understand Bitcoin or see what I see in it. I've always wondered why it's so hard for people to grasp the essence of Bitcoin.
Yesterday, I came across a really good video that explains why it's so difficult for people to understand Bitcoin.
It's simply too big of a paradigm shift.I recommend watching the first 20 minutes they do an amazing job explaining why most people don’t really see or understand Bitcoin.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6ZHRci4KbwI've not watched the video you shared (I will of course do after posting this comment) but it's wrong to assume that very few people understand bitcoin, except if you mean in your locality alone, because if you are talking about the globe generally, I can tell you there are very many that understand bitcoin and it's purpose perfectly well.
And don't also expect us to see exactly what you are seeing, we are not living with the same eyes 😁, maybe you tell us what you are seeing and we tell you what we are individually seeing, this is the only way you and I can truly know if we are seeing the same thing.
Many of us understand bitcoin and it's purpose perfectly well, but when it comes to bringing that purpose to actualization, it's something that must be done collectively, money is not actually money until it becomes generally agreed, supported and accepted as one.
