Bitcoin is ahead , but altcoins often outperform it in certain cycles. When Bitcoin rallies, capital flows in, and once it slows, traders sometimes rotate into smaller tokens for higher returns. This dynamic is tracked through Bitcoin dominance.

Balancing between Bitcoin’s stability and altcoins’ potential upside is part of portfolio management. Timing is key betting on altcoins too early can be painful, while waiting too long can mean missing opportunities. The question isn’t whether altcoins will move, but when.Would you put your confidence in Bitcoin’s dominance or risk chasing altcoin surges?
I have my bet on bitcoin to be on the safer side. And that makes me flexible that I can also bet and risk in chasing altcoins that are new. But I don't do that anymore because it has lost me a lot of money that I didn't like. If I am still that the same guy, I'd probably lose more than what I can afford to lose because of my ego that I'll likely find the better altcoin that would be moving as high as a 1000x of gain.

I will still stick with Bitcoin because it feels safer and more reliable. in the past, i have chased altcoins hoping for huge gains, but most of the time i just ended up losing money instead. but if i had like continued down that path!! probably i would have even lose more than i could handle because of greed and the belief that i could find the next big coin. the truth is i personally don't believe Bitcoin can give something lik 1000x returns overnight, but it has proven itself over the years and keeps showing real strength every bull cycle. Altcoins can be kinda exciting, but most of them rise and fall too quickly and at the end of the day many never recovers. but for bitcoin!! it has gone through so many crashes and always found its way back up with even high price more than where it was before it crash downward.
