I just sold 225 MON (half of my stash) today for a total of 0.9 BTC and I'm beginning to wonder if I sold too cheap.

It is pretty hard to mine MON and there is only 8.4 millions. 10x less then Vert...can you imagine how hard it will be to mine MON when all vtc miners start merged mining with MON. I've bought 100 MON from bholzer and I would suggest you to sell only one part to cover expenses.
