Obviously the phrase “you lose in the long run” applies here, but the reason we keep playing longer is because we’re trying our luck, hoping that one day we’ll hit that huge multiplier that makes it all worth it. It’s not about trying to beat the system, it’s just playing with the hope that someday we’ll land that big win.
And I don’t see a problem with that as long as we stay responsible. If you can afford to lose $10 a day, then that’s fine, just treat it as the cost of playing. But when the day comes that you hit a huge multiplier, imagine turning that $10 bankroll into $1k. That kind of win makes it feel like success.
