Just the same way it's a bad choice for me seeking bank loan, it's the same way I avoid trading competitions. I don't like anything that makes me conform to something. I feel caged in that. It's the same way I don't like prop firms, no matter how enticing their offers are. So, for what should I engage in trading competitions? That's what I always ask myself whenever I see one pop up, and that has been happening a lot more this day with Cexs pushing that narratives on some of the exchanges I use. I like to go at my pace. I don't see any need to prove anything to anyone but to make my journey count for myself, and myself alone. The need not to prove anything is the first step to taking pressure off oneself.
