Came across this some time ago, and it was touching though. I don't think there's anyone that would make such a huge win and not get carried away at first. But this folk had other things in mind. From what I can deduce, he's someone who has lost alot from gambling and he's mom probably would be aware of hes journey so far. Many at times some gambler might not even have their loved ones in mind and after their win, they just hang out with friends and loot a good portion of their wins on alcohol. I'm proud of him and it shows he's a good son, someone who's ready to take good care of his family with the little he had, who'd do better with such a win..
