i know for a long time on bitcointalk i was in signature projects (dubious) that paid 1/2 btc a month

Indeed... I would never have guessed that signature campaigns would become what they did or I probably should have stuck with being a campaign manager. The couple campaigns I did run usually paid a total of around 2 BTC per week, but I do recall being in them before that and earning as much as 0.5 BTC per month. Now I'm shocked to earn 0.01 BTC per month... Had we only known... There were plenty of years I didn't wear a signature. Crazy to think that was probably life changing money left on the table.
Such a crazy experience! Sometimes life shows us the both sides for a sole purpose of letting us make amends for our mistakes and learn to plan better. Most others new as we may be also get to learn from the experience of pioneers like you guys who have was been caught up in shit attitudes to bitcoin. We don't judge, we only learn and if anyone intentionally wishes to avert some regrets as regards Bitcoin accumulation and potentials, posts like this could lead his way.
Imagine saving / holding 1 bitcoin per week back then when you earned 2 bitcoin weekly, in six months you could have been having 26 bitcois. Fast forward to this day, with 26 bitcoins or more now, There would be life, luxury and future even though you don't seem to be backwards currently but I believe you could have been matching with Michael saylor and Many whales out there.
I've got to learn that campaigns are not stable nor guaranteed always, so whatever comes in should be properly accounted for. Thanks for this piece of experience shared, we keep learning and improving as far as bitcoin is concerned.
