Gambling is called a game for a reason it’s meant to be played, not used to earn money. If it were a job, there would be vacancies for it. That’s the most important thing to understand. I do gamble, but I realize it shouldn’t affect my lifestyle, which means the amounts I spend on it are small. This way, the excitement and the desire to play remain, because it’s fun and causes no problems.

I like reading through your line of thoughts because if every person into gambling can understand what you mentioned without any form of ambiguity, then it will address a lot of problems for them. It will address the issue of addiction, loss of wealth, depression, regrets and the worst of it, lost of live. I cannot believe yet but imagine how someone would abuse and punish themselves with the cost of death. It still doesn't make sense to me hearing someone had commit suicide because they willingly used their life savings to gamble and lost, then had to take the most difficult decision of killing themselves. If not for a psychological issue, which is cause by excessive, aggressive gambling addiction, how on earth will a gambling which is meant to be a game of fun and relaxation lead to your death through a suicide. Indeed the rich are hugely favored in gambling.

Yeah, you are right, gambling favors the rich, and that's the truth. However, people take it in another sense. They think gambling is biased and favors only rich people, but the reality is that rich people have a large capital, which gives them the freedom to engage in it. They have the luxury of effective risk management, which comes only from their wealth ,something that poor people do not have. That's why we perceive gambling as biased. One more thing, if we look back, we can see that it was primarily rich people who engaged in gambling just for fun. It would not be wrong to say that gambling is a rich person's invention.

The rich people have multiple streams of income and multiple investments in multiple industries, it makes it easier for them to quickly recoup whatever losses they have recorded in gambling. The poor people don't have such financial backup to fall back to. Once they record a lose, they go back to their assets and continue with lifestyle but the poor may not be to stand on their feet.
